In 2004 she became the youngest national mountain dulcimer champion at the time. Trained in classical piano and earning a degree in commercial music; Erin toured full time for several years with the duo Scenic Roots. She has recorded several albums with the first in 1999. 5 Man Trio was one of the original groups to play at Metro. They developed a bit of a following in those early years and it represented the community feel that has always been a part of Metro!

Jennifer Weigel is a multi-disciplinary mix media conceptual artist. Weigel utilizes a wide range of media to convey her ideas, including assemblage, drawing, fibers, installation, jewelry, painting, performance, photography, sculpture, video and writing. Much of her work touches on themes of beauty, identity (especially gendere identity), memory & forgetting, and institutional critique. Weigel’s art has been exhibited nationally in all 50 states and has won numerous awards.
