Live at The Metro - J Wheelz

“Join J Wheelz for a night of acoustic music, jokes, and stories. Every time we gather at the Metropolitan Coffee Shop, it’s like gathering around the campfire without the fire (they frown on that inside the building). Come warm up with a cup of coffee instead, and enjoy some of the latest and greatest that J Wheelz is jammin’! This is a free event, but limited merch will be available and tips are welcome to support the artist. Hope to see you there!”

Live at The Metro - Spencer and Risa Garrison

New at the Metro are the sounds of Spencer and his wife. They describe their style below:

“We are an acoustic folk pop duo that enjoys performing a mix of meaningful acoustic covers as well as original songs. Our sometimes mellow dramatic, other times uplifting and energetic sound demonstrates the diverse musical and personal background experiences that bring us both to the point where we are today, and the excitement of where it might take us in the future. From chanting timeless classics with our friends to sharing songs we just finished writing last week, we play, write, and perform to connect with those around us, making the world a little bit smaller, one melody at a time.”

Make sure to drop in on Saturday and support local music!

Live @ The Metro - Erin Mae Lewis

Whether soft and slow or lively and fun, there is no better way to celebrate the Christmas season than a night of dulcimer music. Erin has been playing mountain dulcimer since the age of 7. In 2004 she became the youngest national mountain dulcimer champion at the time. Trained in classical piano and earning a degree in commercial music; Erin toured full time for several years with the duo Scenic Roots. She has recorded several albums with the first in 1999.  Plan on spending the evening at Metro with a great drink, tasty treat and, most of all, amazing music! #metrocoffeehutch #metrocoffee #erinmaemusic

Metro 20 and 15 Year Anniversary Celebration - 5 Man Trio: Against Our Better Judgement Tour

We are so grateful that 5 Man Trio has agreed to come back together and help us celebrate the 20th anniversary of Metro opening and the 15 year anniversary of the Kitsons owning it.

5 Man Trio was one of the original groups to play at Metro. They developed a bit of a following in those early years and it represented the community feel that has always been a part of Metro!

Please drop in and spend the night helping us celebrate!
